JCSU will celeberate its 2014 Homecoming Concert beginning at 9 p.m. at The Filmore in Charlotte, 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd. It is rare for Smith’s homecoming concert to be off campus, but it is even more unusual for the concert to take place on a Tuesday.
The Homecoming Concert 2014’s lineup is one that students are excited about and includes Sevyn Streeter, Migos, and YG and is hosted by WPEG FM Power 98’s No Limit Larry. “I’m happy that it’s off campus. I think it’ll feel more like a concert and less of a gym jam,” said senior Charlene Montas, referring to previous homecomings that have been in Brayboy Gymnasium.

Born in Los Angeles, California, it didn't take Letchaw long to get into sports. He began playing soccer at the young age of 3 and continued to play until he was introduced to basketball.

West Village turned into Ranger Village, Oct. 26 as residents showed their excitement for their home team, the Texas Rangers, who played the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series 2011.
Students and fans were anxious to see the outcome of the games and wondered who would win it all.
“I hope the Rangers win, I would be so happy. Forget the Cardinals,” sophomore education major Mikia Franklin said.
